• This is a very strong, non-toxic, waterproof adhesive for use with prosthetic appliances. It is gentle to all skin types, and will not be affected by perspiration or moisture. Certain skin areas such as the neck, back, and chest are more sensitive and must ve handled with even more care. Because removal of Pros-Aid is difficult, avoid the eye area

Instructions for Adhesion of Prostheses:

1. Shake well before opening.
2. Clean skin and prosthesis with rubbing alcohol.
3. Apply 1 thin layer of adhesive with a cotton applicator stick. Let dry completely until clear.
4. Repeat with a second layer.
5. Apply the prosthesis in the correct position and hold for 10 seconds.

How to remove: 

Because removal of Pros-Aid is difficult, avoid the eye area. Pros-Aid requires a specific remover. When removing any latex appliance, never tear the application off, because some skin will come off with it. You must soak it with remover as you peel it until it comes off easily. Allow the solvents or remover to loosen the adhesive. Excessive rubbing to loosen adhesive residue will only irritate the skin. Clean skin with mineral oil, then use soap and water. Clean prosthesis with rubbing alcohol.
